Did you know that National Child Protection Week is the first week of September, and launches Safeguarding Month? This year National Child Protection Week is from 4-10 September. The theme for this year will continue to embrace the overarching message that ‘Every child, in every community, needs a fair go’ with a focus on shining a light on children growing up safe and supported.
This week we share with you some new information and activities for you to take part in and explore with your families.
Week Two
- Drawing Competition – Weekly winners throughout September
- NAPCAN Children’s Activity Booklet – To do in your spare time
For more information on National Child Protection visit the NAPCAN Website
- Safeguarding Information Flyer – Running 1 – 30th September
We invite all families to continue to share their experiences of how you connect as a family in the form of a story, a video or a photo during Safeguarding Month of September. The most creative entries entered will be showcased on the Diocesan Safeguarding Month webpage. Download the poster in the link above for links to ideas.
