On Wednesday 26th July, we were blessed to have so many grandparents join us to celebrate Grandparent’s Day. It was a beautiful morning filled with lots of excitement as we opened our classrooms for the children to show what they had been learning in class this year. The morning was then followed with a Grandparent’s Day liturgy, morning tea and performances in the hall. During our liturgy we enjoyed a slideshow of our students with their grandparents, along with prayers, reflections and hymns. The day also marked the feast of Saint Anne and Saint Joachim who were Jesus’ grandparents and Mary’s parents. We are so blessed to have such beautiful grandparents part of our community – it was a wonderful morning celebrating with you all.
